Buried down somewhere
Are feelings.
Somewhere 6 feet under
Are cares.
I can't dig them out
My shovel is too small.
It's hit a wall and bent
Made a dent
In the box holding them.
The box is heavy and hard
I played my last card
Long ago.
The box has a guard
Of ribs and the left piece of my heart.

This poem is special to me. It is about trying to hide the feelings in your soul because they are too painful and in your head it would just be better to not feel at all.
