This... is only... impossible.
Clawing my way out of the pit you dug and threw me in.
An impossible oath to break;
an improbably fatal breath to take.
Screaming your name in vain--
a cry unheard,
a flightless bird.
Slashes across my heart, my hope;
rips and tears in my gathered exterior.
This darkness is a veil covering my eyes.
My awareness.
My existence.
My SELF.
Going, running, hiding, disappearing.
Lying.
LYING.
Faking.
Hidden, are the words I was too afraid to say.
