I met you an early age
I saw more to you than someone else saw
I thought you were the best
Until you hurt me
You told me you loved me
And sent me on an emotional high
Then you lied and dumped me saying you never did
I fell out of the sky
I didn’t talk for weeks
Because it hurt so bad
Ever less word I spoke
Was every last tear I shed
As I’m trying to move on
A new life I’m trying to make
You’re with a new girlfriend
Just another heart to break
