Of rods and fire
Some semblance of a soul
Ghosting along wires
Lay out your nights
The hours lost between light
And tell me of dreams,
Clipped memories,
Stitched seams
Where unthinkables happen
Until they shake loose
Delivered unkemptly
From reality's noose
Look into my eyes
And tell me of lies
And tell me of kings
And tell me of spies.
