The dog is asleep on the pavement.
Our world is in constant movement.
Birds chirping, kids screaming,
there is no end of today or tomorrow.
Our world is in constant movement.
The lights don’t shut off because
there is no end of today or tomorrow.
Good morning is some people’s goodnight.
There are birds chirping, kids screaming
but it all falls silent because
the dog is asleep on the pavement.

This poem is in Pantoum form, and I was inspired by my dog sleeping on the pavement, outside. I hope people will relate to this poem because when we sleep the world does not stop for us.
