Night Crawlers

Writhing up through sidewalk
cracks come
children of the night
Concrete castles
block the stars but
Neon is their nightlight
Young ones clutch worn
teddy bears
to help their dreams ignite
And others watch the billboards change
Neon is their nightlight
On city streets they can't get sleep they're
haunted by their shadows
But
glowing signs sing lullabies
Neon is their nightlight

I like your use of repetition in this poem. The tone is solemn and consistent. Catalog poems really seem like your forte. I like them too, they're fun to write and don't have strict rules. Very good job.
