I don't know why my blood is red
when my heart is clearly blue
a piece of me is dead
that piece was owned by you
everything I felt I needed
was found in the smile of yours
but now that your gone,I've receded
back behind closed doors
I pray no one will knock
for I refuse to answer
this heart of mine is locked
the only key is within her
