I collect my tears in a glass cup,
For safe keeping,
Reminding me of my sorrows.
I will never be happy.
Reminding me of my solitude.
I will always be lonely.
The tears leave salt,
Left unwanted by evaporation.
Symbols of raw
Stinging
Harsh
Emotion
Dripping down my face.
A collection of my tears
Pooled
Waiting for redemption
In a glass cup.
