a kiss is a kiss
it is what it is
but with you there is something deeper
there is meaning and history
but then there is truth
and though it hurts
the truth will set you free
free from fear and free from me
suddenly the truth is a cage
it locks you away and you cant escape
you long to be free of your cage
but not of your keeper
free from he truth to return to a lie
free from the bars so you can run
back to my folded arms
free from the cage bit not from the truth
