Like Lucifer I fell,
But she did not catch me
Nor did she make a move to do so
With all of my heart
I sang her praises
But they were leeched from my soul
And not returned
In the center of my being
Splattered with acid from demons
Her memory burns like hellfire
Painful, and avenging;
Incapable of being ignored
Still I lay my ashes at her feet
So she may tread upon
The sinew of my dreams
And her delicate skin may be cushioned
On my fatty bed of misery
But she did not catch me
Nor did she make a move to do so
With all of my heart
I sang her praises
But they were leeched from my soul
And not returned
In the center of my being
Splattered with acid from demons
Her memory burns like hellfire
Painful, and avenging;
Incapable of being ignored
Still I lay my ashes at her feet
So she may tread upon
The sinew of my dreams
And her delicate skin may be cushioned
On my fatty bed of misery
