I want to be remembered as the girl who always smiled, the one who could brighten up your day, even if she couldn't brighten her own

I'm only me. That's all I can be. No more, no less, don't second guess. I love, I live, I laugh, I cry. I've wished sometimes that I could die. Some days I'm funny others I'm not, sometimes I'm in overdrive and I can't stop. You may not like me, but that's okay because this is me and how I'll stay.

"Not so in other people's definitions maybe, but you act the way you are, because that is who you are.
You are the only person who is you.
You are unique, and everybody has flaws, but these flaws make them perfect."

“Well, I found out early on that I either laugh or cry. Since crying isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, I try to make laughter my priority.”

Happiness is the hue of the rainbow and a sunset, combined
It sounds like a child's innocent gleeful laugh
It tastes like sweet wild blueberries, something you can't get enough of
And smells like cinnamon buns, freshly baked
Happiness looks like a calm beach, with waves to splash in
And makes you feel exuberant

This was a piece I did for five sense poetry. Life has its ups and downs, and this poem is meant to show one of those ups. I hope that this poem will remind people of their memories, and how they feel when they are happy (even if it's not the same way).
