My dear Kati,
it's time to sleep
no more shall you lie and weep.
Fill your head with blissful dreams,
where you will fly within the sky.
We'll creep around all of the schemes,
And never shall you ever cry.
My dear Kati,
it's time to sleep.
And if I must I'll count the sheep,
And in the night I'll sing for you,
As the stars, they dance anew.
Until the sky lights up in gold,
I'll sit and wait until I'm told.

It's time to sleep.
