I need to move on now
Can’t take one more breakdown
I write you one last note
Hoping it’s my antidote
My fingers move, I write the words
I speak the truth although it hurts
I send and walk away
Wishing it wasn’t this way
You left, now it’s my turn
Leaving your heart to burn
My heart aching, I’ve ended it
Now I will say what you wanted
I will leave you with a scar
Right there on your heart
