A thousand words

A Picture's worth a thousand words
But it can never tell the whole story
A mere print on paper
Will never do the justice
Of seeing you in person
Or listening to you speak.
Like the way your voice wavers
when you get nervous.
There are many ways to photoshop
a picture, to an ideal beauty
But no matter how hard I try
I can never take a picture
Of you, that is as beautiful
As your voice;
The feel of your skin against mine;
Or how the sound of your laughter
Always makes me smile.
A picture's worth a thousand words
But it can never tell the whole story.
