If I was to write
a poem
about you,

what would you
say? Would you give me
a hug and continue on
your way?

or

push me into
the shadows of rejection,
and let the lurking dragons
swallow my ghostly
reflection?

Leaving my spirit
to wander the desolate
hills and yonder,

filled with lost hearts
and damaged minds that payed the cost.

Shattered in half,
like the silence
between you and I,

nothing is as it seems.
