The breeze is cooler and the days are shorter
The school supply shops fill up
The jeans and backpacks and sneakers go on sale
The laughter and chaos dies down
The tan lines and sun kissed hair fade
The focus and dedication sets in
Thoughts of the future swirl in children's heads
Parents become the drivers and meal-makers
Another year
Another chance
Another opportunity
Another whirlwind
Another 9 months
