"The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary."

Cry in the blue sun
Kiss passionately in the red sun
Jovial in the yellow sun
Your blood is my breath
and the rhythm of your heart is my tongue
Da-da, da-da, da-da
You are mine when I open your case
Your emotions are my thoughts
Underneath your gold are scratches and dents
You will always be used, but never heartbroken
Cradle you in my arms
Scream and growl to perfection
You are my soul mate
You are
My Saxophone

The author's comments:
I have an unquestionable passion for playing jazz and blues on my tenor sax and so I thought it would be interesting to reveal at the end of my poem that my lover is actually a complex body of metal, not a living being.
