Intangible

Chin squared and hands on hips.
See my face.
Disposed of all uncertainty.
Rid oneself of any substance not serious enough.

See my lips.
I’m not smiling.
Look and read my eyes.
I’ll defy your judgment.
Extend out and sense my heart.
It’s loving life so much more than yours.

My heart beats light and travels just as far.
My fingertips touch corner
yours are scared to reach.
In those corners my light turns to fire.
I dwell and thrive were no soul dares to tread.

See my embers--
even they smolder out your doubts.
