No-one
Soulful solace and a cloak of despair,
Scream and shout but no one's there.
Oh what a hopeless case,
No one can save the human race.
But yet you try, you give it your all,
You help me up every time I fall.
Some call it faith, some call it false hope,
But who can straight out deny their Pope?
A sly grin on a saddened face,
No one else does it with such grace.
I watch in pure admiration
At this joyful apparation.
How he does it I'll never understand,
But forget it baby, give me your hand,
We'll walk and stroll,
We'll rock and roll,
How long before your happy thoughts
On me take their toll?
No one else could do it,
Could do what you do.
No one else,
No one but you.
