My face is wrapped in guilt;
My eyes forsworn to my hilt.
I look to the stars for reassurance;
Faces of scorn look down in deterrence.
My face displays hate;
My mind displays another too late.
I cower in the corner afraid of what is next;
The bloodshed merely waits for me whilst I’m in bed.
My mind blocks out the thoughts;
My heart replays what has been unjust.
I shake my head in utter disbelief;
I’m shaken awake and found to be asleep!
My eyes forsworn to my hilt.
I look to the stars for reassurance;
Faces of scorn look down in deterrence.
My face displays hate;
My mind displays another too late.
I cower in the corner afraid of what is next;
The bloodshed merely waits for me whilst I’m in bed.

I shake my head in utter disbelief;
I’m shaken awake and found to be asleep!
