Everything I miss
your fingers with mine
under our faces
they intertwine
sight of people and their dis
our worry is zero to bits
as Brand New would always sing
you’re the smell before rain
you’re the blood in my veins
But
no.
But no
no
no
no
no
with a capital N and O
both capital
the scent i smell before rain
is your dead lungs
they breathe in vain
and the blood flowing through my veins
on its way to the hospital
for they are blackened and
apparently
a handful liquid of bane.
