What you feel is what you are, and what you are is beautiful.

I looked out to the crowd,-
Everyone smiling,-
Cheering so happily, -

And I am searching,
for someone there,
for me,

But where are you,
cause your not there,
but I wish you were,

Where am I,
cause I should be somewhere better,
somewhere where I can look up,

Cause I wanted to,
look up to you,
I wanted you there,

I looked out to the crowd,-
I was smiling,-
We were cheering so happily.-

This poem is about high school. When you go to the football games and you see all your friends the ones that are important to you. I was a cheerleader in high school and I remember always looking out to the crowd and seeing all the people that mattered to me. My last year of cheering was at a new school and I remember just looking at that crowd and wishing I was actually at my old school where all my friends were. This poem is about seeing who is really there for you when it comes to everything.
