The girl in the corner can only be described as silent
Locked in a prison of sadness, quite unappreciated
Eyes of brown move back and forth nestled in the comfort of a book
Some would call her a nerd an aberration of society, ugly
But I see the beauty locked in books and bound by sadness.
So I free her bonds with a few simple words
Starting a conversation
by sharing a verse
