I still remember that rainy day in November
when she made that great sacrifice for our family
My heart was torn asunder.
‘Twas a painful memory that changed me forever.

“Don’t leave us,” I pleaded.
Slowly, she slipped through my fingers.
I tried, but nothing impeded
her departure that I oh so dreaded.

Life without her, I could not imagine.
She was the air that I breathed.
I lost my light, adrift in a place I’ve never been
My world had suddenly lost its spin.

Though thousands of miles away
she remained to be there for me.
Her sacrifice so great, I cherish day by day.
In my heart and mind, she will always be.

There is no better mom I could wish for.
Her love is the greatest of all.
I cannot ask for more.
I know that she is there to catch me when I fall.

She is the reason I dream
A bright future I hope to chase
to give her a wonderful life that she deserves
Her great sacrifice, I will not waste.

How I wish I could express
how thankful I am for all she had done.
Indeedd, I am blest.
O Mother, how I love you so.
