Is such a stupid thing to promise
Forever
Is such a foolish thing to say
Forever
Is the word
That drove us away
Forever
Is the lie that destroyed us
Forever
Can never live among us
Forever
Is what we held on so desperately to
Forever
Was our savior in a sea of deep blue
Forever
Was what we dared to dream
When in reality
Forever
Is such a hopeless thing
Forever
Was the word we promised
Forever
It seems though
Will never live among us
Forever
Was what we thought to be true
Forever
However,
Was what tore me from you
Forever
Leaves nothing but scars and pain
Forever
Is not who we are I’m afraid
Forever
Is truly the deadliest of things
Forever
Will in the end
Tear away our dreams.
