You’re never alone
I’m always here
I’m on the ground dressed in pure black
I am your silhouette
You cannot step on me
Though others will
I’m your soul appearing on the cool concrete
I am your shadow
You and I are similar
Though we differ all the same
I’m only visible for part of the day
But I’m always in your heart
