Fire flames
Afloat on water
My tears
Drift in the wind
Heart is heavy
Sinking to my stomach
Shrinking
Disappearing
A magic act
Of disappointment
Our mistakes
We can never face
While our pride
Blinds our eyes
And binds our hands
So that in
A thousand years
The earth will drown
In tears
