It hurts that I will never be capable of saying to you
I love you.
But I suppose I just love you more than words can express.

I can never quickly contradict you.
I can't.
I will never sing along to that song with you.
I can't.
Don't scream.
I CAN hear you!
Don't think I can't.

Please don't be quick to anger with me.
I can't even sob.
Just quiet tears that caress my face warmly,
shaping the slender, gentle curves of my cheeks,
soon to turn into salty water vapor.

I didn't choose this...
Do you know how it feels?
Not being able to speak?

I wish I could scream with you.
At the top of the hill,
at the climax of the movie.
I want to sing in a choir,
to blend with the majority,
one voice of a hundred.

My hand can't scrawl down words
fast enough for you.
My hand can't twist into those awkward shapes
fast enough for you.
My smile can't cover my face
fast enough for you.

It hurts that I will never be capable of saying to you
I love you.
But that means I love you more than words can say.
