Violent stormy waters
Thunder booming in the night
My only consolation
Is the thought of one last sight

Of the smile on your face
And the glimmer in your eyes
So far away from me now
But so close deep inside

Will I wash up on the shore?
Bending on my knees
Will my grave have inscriptions
But no one there to read?

Questions swarm me like flies
Is this how all men die?
Drowning in the ocean
Tidal waves so high

Now demons dance around me
But in the horror, there is light
In the thought of being with you
And the thought of one last sight
