False Perception of Love

The sweet surrender of a goodbye kiss.
At first it seems like bliss,
But slowly you realize that all the tummy butterflies.
They were lies.
Yet you still deny it.
Until one day...
It'll hit you like the ocean blue.
Remember how you used to think the sky was always blue?
Then you learned that color is just perception.
For you the sky is blue,
But for another blue is red.
