Words

I am going to write a poem
Or maybe
It’s just words
I’m going to write about him
Because he’s all I can think about
I refuse to name names
Oh, hell
Oh, no
I can’t
Because
Because it’s far too important
For me
For my mental state
Because a name is so potent and his is like poison
Or like a drug
Like my drug
I’ve never been high
But I can imagine
The buzzing
Euphoria
The unreal
Pleasure
Power
Of him
I know now
That these are only words
Meaningless words
Empty words
Describing things I do not feel
Should not feel
You’d think I’d know by now
That words
Cannot
Fill feelings

I love the ranting...It is amazing! Not conforming to sentences. Just pure art. I think we have a similar style. Check out my poetry. I would absolutely LOVE to hear your feedback. Great work!
