Writing About Dreams
It seems cliché,
To write about dreams,
Dreams as aspirations,
Where hope is needed,
And sacrifices are made,
But results seem to play games,
As in Hide-and-Seek,
Some people lose,
They are forever searching.
It seems much more sensible,
To write about dreams,
Dreams as they appear in Sleep,
Where a soul can express its true nature,
And events occur that step outside the realms of reality,
But the mind seems to play games with the soul,
As in Chess,
Some people lose,
They are forever living in the unreal.
