My bones are brittle
Hollow and worn
With the age I was born with
The old soul that plagues me still
And I’ve been here before
In this state
I couldn't move
Decrepit and empty
Waiting for a fullness
Of life and substance
That never came
My fingers type lifeless words
In an attempt to fill a void
Spitting up nothing but acid
Yet expecting the sun
Hollow and worn
With the age I was born with
The old soul that plagues me still
And I’ve been here before
In this state
I couldn't move
Decrepit and empty
Waiting for a fullness
Of life and substance
That never came
My fingers type lifeless words
In an attempt to fill a void
Spitting up nothing but acid
Yet expecting the sun
