You told me many times you cared
But never thought to stop and stare
Your grueling actions
You must have felt the satisfaction
To see me hurt and hear me cry
Tell me, how many times did you lie?

I'm not a stupid block of stone
And not afraid of being alone
Just swiftly disappear and leave
I'm building up my self-esteem

Let go of my hand, and set me free
I know this was never meant to be
I'll shrug my shoulders, I'll be okay
As I gain my happiness back each day by day

I want this poem to encourage anyone to get out of a bad relationship and achieve happiness.
