Before I rest
Before I rest,
I do my best,
To except my eternal slumber.
That is, before I die,
I wont cry,
For I must stay strong.
I write my note, lyrics on paper,
I write to my family, hoping for a savior.
Words do not define,
How divine,
Death sounds to me.
He whispers his words, music to my ears
(No one is there,
No one will care.)
He'll caress my cheek,
I'll become weak,
While he speaks
I'll leave with him,
Hoping he'll do his best,
To give me eternal rest.
