A sorrowful cut of life
deeper, and deeper
They went to see the inner
the inner life of the girl
They went six feet under
and danced with her history
They found out what made
her tick and tock
and sit and rock her tears
down her frail arms
Life had no meaning
to her, she lived for
the moment, no longer the future,
Selflessness controlled her
selfishness expelled out
Perfection her expectation
Her funeral was lonely
lone parents, lone friend
Never knowing the truth of
their own silent words
