Softball
I am a softball
Yellow with red thread
I can fly when a bat hits me
That's the way it's supposed to be
I like to be pitched – Strike, Strike, Strike
When the ump says ball, that what I don't like
I like to see the clouds when I get hit out of the park
I come back to the ground when outside turns dark
I can be caught when I get popped into the air
When they catch me, it gives me a scare
I am a softball, don't pretend like you don't care
