Love in Bloom

Eyes closed,
like budding tulips,
and smell just as good.
Opening lazily,
like timeless stars,
which twinkle,
then die.
She finds my arms,
salvation,
safe-haven.
Her porcelain skin,
like silk sheets,
draped over my arms.
Words are sand,
between our toes.
I pluck a kiss.
Then plant it,
on her cheek.
Should love take root,
let it grow.
