Everything Is Subject To Change

On occasion, I feel as though no one realizes their actions
Or how they affect or damage others lives
We always stumble through apologies
But never own up to our selfishness
Sometimes we hold onto feelings
Only because we have not found new ones
We feel nostalgic for memories we’ve never had
And cower in our childhood comforts
Everyone craves change and differences
But we’re all too familiar with consistency
Everything is subject to change
If you are the change
