Dreary mornings
Persuade me to get lost in
My cozy blankets,
Listening to the drops crash
Against my window.

Walking out the door
Breathing in the musky
Smell of morning
And when I exhale,
A smile forms.

Low to no music
Mother Nature- your morning soundtrack.
Listen to the chirping of
Windshield wipers.

Sitting in class
Eyes shift from
The lecturing teacher
Toward the foggy
Window.

Dreary mornings
Turn into pouring
Afternoons, which lead
To misty nights, creating
Never
Ending
Dreams.
