I pass by quickly
I start and end with you
some of me is wasted
and sometimes I'm gained
You never seem to have
enough of me when it matters

What am I?

Your poem made me think of it as a riddle. I like how you did not tell what the answer was in the poem and left the reader thinking. I thought it was about time and love. Your choice of words for this poem goes really well. Great job!

Thanks and I never thought of Love I guess it is kind of a make up your own answer...if that makes sense. When I wrote it it was Time... but now I'm not so sure. :)

LOL by the way I just realized that I didn't put the answer in there. Sorry. The answer is Time.
