Time seems all chopped up.
It passes in waves,
lapping up and crashing down,
flooding,
you drown in its rush.
It beats you around,
you just want it to stop.
Time has a vast terrain
that swallows everything up
and turns them into memories.
Helplessly,
you wander
until it turns you into a memory too.
