“There must be a God”
For where I had trod
He said “It can’t be true”
For what could he do?
Everyone says me and he
“Will end up married, you’ll see”
He laughs and makes a pun
But inside him I have clearly won
“Divine intervention”
He mentions
For he can’t believe
Or he thinks I aim to deceive
The unthinkable is what he sees
And he secretly shakes at the knees
Because I have a boyfriend
