The rain falls
Thing go unchanged
We are not
What we were before
In the light of the best
In the dark of the worst
What we say and what we do
Are simple gestures
And nothing more
I see the rise
I watch the downpour
The mist surrounding
An unchanging visual symphony
There is nothing to change
We are simple pawns
In this game called life
This is what I hear
If that is destiny
Then give me the strength
To shatter it
