Thoughtful Haze
Blinds me like a rainstorm
Pouring ideas
For new things to write
With electric lightning
In my words and the
Thunderous booming of
My pen it is
Hailing emotion
And the screaming wind
Calls my name
I am soaked
With suspense
And my umbrella
Of restriction
Has blown away
I’m drowning
In a flood
Of synonyms
And crushed by
A branch of metaphors
Covered in leaves of speech
Afterwards, an antonym
Fell on my face, grabbed his
Acorn, and scurried away
Leaving me to die
With nothing but
My pen
In a world of
Thoughtful Haze
