Poison ivy

Poison ivy hurts 
Everything it touches. 
A brush with it's 
Oiled leaves and
You will be infected.
But if you think about it
(and I have thought about it)
That's an irritation 
Because heals in just a week.
The one who is harmed is the 
Tree that it grows on.
It wraps itself around
and chokes the life away
And then it is dead
Forever.
