Let Me Tell You This
Let me tell you this,
The fact is, you’re more comfortable with myth than man.
The whole world is behind the wall you don’t try to take down.
As it grows higher and higher.
Life can be a lie or hold the truth in its hand,
Waiting to be opened, inside from its dark hole.
Letting the secrets unravel.
Letting the string of fate brake and fade away.
Like they always say, “Seeing is Believing”
But what I think that they are just trying to run away.
Holding onto the truth that they see
That fits their image and theirs alone.
Never being able to let the door open,
Letting the knob rust until it falls and rolls away.
Until you finally realize that is was too late.
Letting death come and take you away,
The fact is, you’re more comfortable with myth than man.
