Stolen, leaving,
creeping, sinking.
Skin peeled,
mind closed.
Pain reacts,
at the wake.
Heart clenches,
no muscles.
Drips nothing,
blood gushes.
Fading light,
conscious dying.
Repentance late,
fleeing conscience.
Regret stalks,
last thoughts.
No breath,
lingering guilt.
A broken feather,
with them forever.
