We are the leaning trees
Slouching from kyphosis
Lordosis
Scholiosis
Tired-of-this
We are the sleepy trees
Shielding from the storm
Who needs to see our faces
Why should we stand in proper form
We wake from seeds to grow and stand tall
We are ignored and neglected
No one hears as we fall
Weeded out for hundreds of years
No one sees our timber tears
The leaning trees are tired, so please, let us rest
Let us lean and relax in our slanted forest.
