I beg of you
Save me from
Dark solitude
For today, for tomorrow
Don’t forget me
Erase the russet haze,
The grime upon my heart
Hush now,
Don’t let me cry
For the tears
Might fall again
Keep me from
An earthy grave,
Put on your
Brazen face
Nevermore shall
I linger here
A nomad’s soul
Is never still
Keep me free
From my cage,
Render me fair
Before I walk away.
